Wedding hall ceiling collapses during earthquake: Engagement ceremony was underway

A 4.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Turhal district of Tokat. The earthquake caused the ceiling of a local wedding hall to collapse.

A 4.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in the village of Üçyol, located 71 kilometers from Tokat and 27 kilometers from the Turhal district. The earthquake, which struck at 15:03, was also felt in the center of the Turhal district.

ENGAGEMENT CEREMONY WAS UNDERWAY

Due to the earthquake, the ceiling of a wedding hall in the Turhal district collapsed. During the engagement ceremony, the rock wool panels and the boards supporting them fell onto the tables. No injuries occurred during the incident.
