According to the latest assessments by the Turkish State Meteorological Service, partly to very cloudy weather will prevail in the northern parts of our country.
Local showers and thunderstorms are expected in the vicinity of Edirne, Kırklareli, Tekirdağ, and Ordu, as well as in the inland parts of Giresun. In other regions, clear to partly cloudy weather is forecast.
Strong winds and storms are expected, particularly in the south of the Marmara region and the northern coasts of the Aegean. For this reason, the Meteorological Service has issued a yellow-coded warning for 9 provinces. It is important for those planning activities for the weekend to take these warnings into account.
