Weight loss had drawn attention... Ümit Özdağ revealed how much weight he lost in prison

Ümit Özdağ, who was released from the Marmara Closed Penal Execution Institution yesterday, performed a prayer of gratitude at the Hacı Bayram Veli Mosque in Ankara in the morning before visiting Anıtkabir. Özdağ later visited the family of Nihat Genç, who is currently undergoing treatment, and the Memorial Tomb of Alparslan Türkeş to convey his well wishes.

Özdağ's new appearance, which showed visible weight loss during his time in prison, drew public attention. In a statement made at the party headquarters, Özdağ said regarding his weight loss, "Silivri makes you lose weight. I really lost about 8 kilos."

In his statement, mentioning the individuals he stayed with in prison, Özdağ said, "Mr. Buğra Gökçe, who was brought to Silivri later, is a very respectable person; as soon as I saw him, I told him, 'Mr. Buğra, that belly of yours will go away here,' and I was right. He is also much fitter now. I would like to send my greetings to them from here as well. I hope they regain their freedom as soon as possible. Ekrem Bey, Buğra Bey, and Aykut Erdoğdu as well. He is my student from Gazi University."
