Well cleaning ends in tragedy in Aksaray
In the village of Koçpınar in Aksaray, three people lost their lives after being poisoned while attempting to clean a water well, while one person remains in critical condition.

After İsmail (42), Mehmet (28), and Ahmet Yeşildal (30), along with their relative Murat Yeşildal (28), went down to clean a 17-meter-deep water well in an apple orchard in the village of Koçpınar, located in the central district of Aksaray, their relatives notified the authorities when they could not be reached for a long time.
Upon the report, AFAD, UMKE, gendarmerie, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene in a short time. During the teams' investigation, it was determined that all four individuals who had entered the well were unconscious inside.
Following rescue efforts that lasted approximately two hours and were a race against time, İsmail, Mehmet, Ahmet, and Murat Yeşildal were pulled from the well and transported by ambulance to the Aksaray Training and Research Hospital.
Despite the doctors' interventions, Mehmet, Ahmet, and Murat Yeşildal lost their lives. It was reported that the health condition of the other brother, İsmail Yeşildal, remains critical.
