Went in for a stomach ache, 16-year-old girl gives birth

In the Çaycuma district of Zonguldak, an incident that took place at a hospital in the morning hours drew everyone's attention. 16-year-old B.T. arrived at Çaycuma State Hospital with complaints of abdominal pain. Following the initial examination, doctors realized the young girl was experiencing labor pains, and the delivery process was immediately initiated.

BABY WAS STILLBORN, YOUNG GIRL TAKEN UNDER MEDICAL CARE

During the checks performed during the delivery, it was determined that the baby had lost its life in the womb. While the baby was stillborn, 16-year-old B.T. was taken under medical care at the hospital. No statement has been made yet regarding the young girl's health status.

INVESTIGATION OPENED BY THE CHIEF PUBLIC PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE

Immediately following the incident, the Zonguldak Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation. It was stated that the incident would be investigated in all its aspects within the framework of the inquiry. It was reported that while B.T. did not file a complaint, the father of the baby would be identified and his statement would be taken.

As a result of the research conducted by the teams, the identity of the baby's father was determined. It was learned that the necessary procedures to take his statement have been initiated.
