MINISTER KURUM ANNOUNCED

Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum spoke at the Turkey Construction Sector Workshop. In his speech, Minister Kurum also announced the good news of the new housing campaign.

Making a statement regarding Emlak Konut's new campaign, Minister Kurum said, "We have sent the project to our governorships for the feasibility studies to be conducted. We will have taken our step for the project that will make our low-income citizens homeowners. Along with this campaign, we are launching another campaign with our Emlak Konut that will increase the sector's mobility."

PAYMENT PLANS ANNOUNCED

Emlak Konut General Manager Yasir Yılmaz made statements regarding the 2025 Emlak Konut campaign. Within the scope of these statements, he used the following expressions for the payment models:

FIRST MODEL

"In the first model, there is a decreasing installment option with no down payment. Our citizens who want to reach the home of their dreams can become homeowners without paying a down payment, and the installments continue to decrease each passing month. We offer a maturity option of up to 60 months with a monthly interest rate of 0.99%."

SECOND MODEL

"In the second model, installment payments for the first 12 months are covered by Emlak Konut, so our citizens who want to become homeowners can spend the first year without making any installment payments. In this way, buyers gain a total of 12%. Additionally, an installment opportunity of up to 60 months is offered with a monthly interest rate of 1.29%."

THIRD MODEL

"In our third model, as Emlak Konut, we offer a leasing-supported financing model to those who want to become homeowners. This model makes becoming a homeowner easier and more accessible with long-term and flexible payment options. In our leasing-supported financing model, we provide financing opportunities together with our Emlak Participation Bank for the entire sale price of the house, either without a down payment or with a down payment amount of your choice. In this way, you can flexibly organize your payment plan according to your budget. Furthermore, a maturity opportunity of up to 120 months is also offered."

WHEN IS THE APPLICATION DEADLINE?

Making a statement regarding the final application date, Yılmaz said: "With all these opportunities we provide, I would like to remind you that the sales in our campaign are for a limited time and in limited numbers. Our final application date for those who want to buy a house is March 23, 2025."

WHAT ARE THE EMLAK KONUT APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS?

The details of the social housing campaign announced by Minister Kurum have not yet been finalized. However, the requirements for previous TOKİ applications were as follows;

- Being a citizen of the Republic of Turkey,

- Residing within the provincial/district boundaries where the project is located for at least 1 year, or being registered in the population of the province where the project is located (Those applying under the categories of Families of Martyrs, War and Duty Disabled, and Widows and Orphans must have resided for at least 3 years or be registered in the province's population),

- Not having purchased a house from the Housing Development Administration (TOKİ) and not having used a housing loan from the Housing Development Administration (excluding the categories of Families of Martyrs, War and Duty Disabled, and Widows and Orphans),

- Not owning an independent section with floor easement/floor ownership or a detached house registered in the title deed belonging to oneself, one's spouse, and/or children under one's custody (excluding fields, vineyards, gardens, village houses, and workplaces), (excluding the categories of Families of Martyrs, War and Duty Disabled, and Widows and Orphans) (excluding real estate owned by the applicant as a shareholder),

- Having completed the age of 25 as of the application date (The age requirement is not sought for widowed women with children whose spouses have passed away.)
