According to the latest assessments by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the cold and rainy weather that has been effective in many regions at the beginning of the week is preparing to leave the country starting tomorrow. According to information provided by Weather Forecasting Expert Cengiz Çelik, partly cloudy and clear weather will prevail across Turkey starting Monday.
Çelik stated that they expect temperatures to rise rapidly, especially in the interior, starting Tuesday. “Starting Tuesday, we anticipate an increase of 4 to 8 degrees in temperatures, particularly in Central Anatolia. In other regions, temperatures will rise by 2 to 4 degrees,” he said.
It was reported that the precipitation affecting the eastern regions will continue for a short time in the Central and Eastern Black Sea, as well as Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, before ending tomorrow. No significant precipitation is expected across the country starting Tuesday.

There will also be a noticeable increase in temperatures in major cities. Experts report that the temperature in Ankara will be 12 degrees tomorrow, rising to 16 degrees on Tuesday and 19 degrees on Wednesday. In Istanbul, temperatures will be measured at 15 degrees tomorrow, while they will be around 17 degrees on Tuesday and 16 degrees on Wednesday. For Izmir, the temperature will reach 24 degrees on Tuesday and will hover around 23 degrees toward the middle of the week.
Officials emphasized that spring weather will increase its effect in the coming days, noting that citizens can enjoy the clear weather.
