WhatsApp messages between Seçil Erzan and Candaş Gürol revealed: 'Your only trump card is suicide'

New details have emerged regarding the ongoing multi-million dollar case of Seçil Erzan, who defrauded football players and business people by creating a fictitious fund. In the mobile phone records examined by court order, WhatsApp messages between Erzan and her ex-boyfriend, lawyer Candaş Gürol, were entered into the case file. It was noted that Gürol sent a message to Erzan saying, 'Your only trump card is suicide.'

Seçil Erzan, who was arrested on charges of defrauding many well-known names including Arda Turan, Emre Belözoğlu, Selçuk İnan, Emre Çolak, and Semih Kaya through a fund named "Fatih Terim," continues to be a major topic on Turkey's agenda.

The mobile phone records that Seçil Erzan provided voluntarily were examined by court order as part of the fraud case that shook Turkey.

12punto has obtained the dialogue that Seçil Erzan had with her ex-boyfriend Candaş Gürol via WhatsApp.

In the WhatsApp correspondence that took place on March 12, 2023, and was included in the investigation file, it was noted that Gürol sent the message "Your only trump card is suicide" to Erzan.

The correspondence between Seçil Erzan and Candaş Gürol:

Seçil Erzan: You wanted to help me, thank you.

Candaş Gürol: Who knows who you will go to now. Your business is ruined. You left me nothing to do.

Seçil Erzan: I cannot bear it.

Candaş Gürol: I don't know, I told you not to go.

Seçil Erzan: I loved you.

Candaş Gürol: Me too, but it didn't work out. Where are you? Come, let's talk, I will open the door.

Seçil Erzan: You disgraced me.

Candaş Gürol: Your only trump card left is suicide.

Seçil Erzan: I cannot bear it, Candaş.

Candaş Gürol: But look, you asked for this. Anyway, if you are coming, I will open the door. Otherwise, I will turn off my phone and go to sleep. That is all from me.

Seçil Erzan: I have no one.

Candaş: Ok.

WHAT DID CANDAŞ GÜROL SAY IN HIS TESTIMONY?

In his testimony, Candaş Gürol, who is Seçil Erzan's ex-boyfriend, said, "Seçil Erzan is my ex-girlfriend. I had a serious relationship with her, and if everything had continued under normal circumstances, I would have gotten engaged in February 2023.

While I was planning to get engaged in February 2023, I canceled the engagement in January and completely ended my relationship in February. Meanwhile, whenever I called Seçil, whether she was at home or at work, I would hear shouting and yelling in the background. But I didn't know who it was," he said.

In the ongoing case, a decision was made to forcibly bring 11 people, including Candaş Gürol, to court to be heard as witnesses.
