Ali Kıdık, who was elected as an Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Council Member from the IYI Party in the local elections and later resigned, has recently come to the fore due to health issues. It was learned that Kıdık suffered a brain hemorrhage. After Kıdık shared the post "I had a brain hemorrhage" on his social media account, his relatives and loved ones were deeply concerned.

Many "Get well soon" messages were sent to Kıdık, who also serves as the General Publication Coordinator for Airporthaber. Kıdık, who served as a Founding Board Member of the IYI Party Istanbul Provincial Organization and as an İBB Council Member, resigned from his party on January 3, 2024.

WHO IS Ali Kıdık?

He was born in Istanbul in 1968. He completed his primary and secondary education in Çanaklı and his high school education at Bakırköy Vocational High School. He left his undergraduate studies unfinished to pursue a career in journalism. He stepped into the profession at Günaydın Newspaper in 1989. In 1991, he began to take an interest in the aviation sector and carried out significant projects at TGRT television. In 1995, he founded his own production company and prepared aviation programs for many TV channels. He also established his own television channel called "Airport TV".
