In the vote held in the Metropolitan Municipal Council, Akhisar Mayor Besim Dutlulu was elected as the acting mayor.

In the council, which met in an extraordinary session today at 15:00, CHP candidate Besim Dutlulu was determined as the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Acting Mayor in the election held.

WHO IS BESIM DUTLULU?

Pharmacist Besim Dutlulu was born in 1979 in Akhisar. After completing his primary education at Misak-ı Milli Primary School in Akhisar, he continued his middle and high school education at a boarding school in İzmir. He completed his university education at the Ege University Faculty of Pharmacy and received the title of pharmacist.

Dutlulu, who started operating a pharmacy in his hometown of Akhisar in 2005, married Özge Dutlulu in the same year. He has twin children named Ege and Simge.

In addition to his professional career, Dutlulu, who actively participates in civil society activities, served as the Deputy District Representative of the Manisa Chamber of Pharmacists in Akhisar for ten years. Later, Dutlulu, who was appointed to the position of District Representative, resigned from this position during the election process.

Besim Dutlulu, who is a member of many non-governmental organizations and associations in Akhisar, is also a member of professional cooperatives such as Edak, Çekop, and Farmakoop.
