WHO IS ALAATTİN KÖSELER?
Alaaddin Köseler was born in Paşabahçe in 1960. Köseler completed his primary education at Paşabahçe Primary School and graduated from Beykoz Ziya Ünsel Secondary School in 1975. After graduating from Paşabahçe Ferit İnal High School in 1978, Köseler graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Yıldız Technical University in 1983.
Sports have been a part of his life; Alaaddin Köseler played basketball for a total of 12 years in the youth, junior, and senior teams of the Beykoz Sports Club. Köseler began his architectural career as a project manager and site supervisor at construction firms, later establishing his own office and undertaking significant projects such as the Bahçeşehir Trade Center. Elected as the Mayor of Beykoz in the 1999 local elections, Köseler is a member of the TMMOB (Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects). He is married and a father of one.
WHICH PARTY HOLDS BEYKOZ MUNICIPALITY?
Turkey went to the polls for the local elections on March 31, 2024. According to the election results, the Republican People's Party (CHP) received 37.7 percent of the vote, the Justice and Development Party (AKP) 35.5 percent, the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) 6.2 percent, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) 5 percent, and the IYI Party 3.8 percent.
