Gülnihal Candan was born on June 15, 1995, in Mersin. Continuing her education at Istanbul Beykent University Faculty of Law, Nihal Candan became famous with the competition "Bu Tarz Benim" (This Is My Style) broadcast on TV8. She has a sister named Bahar Candan, born in 1997, who participated in the same competition.

On October 16, 2014, she participated in the "Bu Tarz Benim" competition as a guest and earned the right to join the competition by receiving 3 stars from the jury.
