Woman stones shop of woman she believes ran off with her ex-husband

In the Gönen district of Balıkesir, a woman stoned a shop belonging to a woman she believed had run off with her ex-husband. It was reported that an investigation into the incident is ongoing.

In the Gönen district of Balıkesir, a woman identified as S.P., believing that her ex-husband, from whom she had divorced a week earlier, had run off with a woman named Ç.Y., became enraged and stoned the shop belonging to Ç.Y.

Bystanders, seeing the woman having a nervous breakdown and breaking the shop's windows, tried to calm her down.

Police teams subsequently arrived at the scene. Ç.Y. was taken to the police station to have her statement taken.

It was reported that the investigation launched into the incident is ongoing.
