Woman's body found by the sea in Tekirdağ

A woman's body was found by the sea in Şarköy. Citizens who noticed the motionless person reported the situation to law enforcement.

Upon the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

Initial investigations determined that the body belonged to 85-year-old Zeliha Demirsoy.

Demirsoy's body was taken to Şarköy State Hospital following the prosecutor's examination.

Police teams have launched an investigation into the incident.
