Worker shuttle minibus overturns in İnegöl: 12 injured
A worker shuttle minibus driven by Mevlüt Karakurt overturned in the İnegöl Hamzabey Organized Industrial Zone. The driver and 12 workers in the vehicle were injured in the accident; it was reported that the injured, who were taken to the hospital, are in good condition. The incident occurred on the morning of September 23, 2024. The minibus with license plate 16 J 3016, driven by Mevlüt Karakurt, overturned for reasons yet to be determined. Following prompt reports from citizens in the vicinity, gendarmerie, fire department, and medical teams were directed to the scene of the accident.
The injured were taken to nearby hospitals after receiving initial intervention at the scene. It was stated that the general health condition of the injured is good and their treatment process is ongoing.
Following the accident, the İnegöl Gendarmerie Command launched a comprehensive investigation to determine the cause of the crash. It was stated that measures regarding the safety of worker shuttles and passenger transport in the region would be increased following the incident.
