The İYİ Party, which received 3.77 percent of the vote in the local elections, has decided to hold an extraordinary congress. As candidates who will compete in the upcoming congress have begun to emerge one by one, all eyes turned to Yavuz Ağıralioğlu, who had previously resigned from the party.

Following widespread speculation that he would be a candidate at the congress, Ağıralioğlu issued a statement.

Yavuz Ağıralioğlu, who has been preparing to establish a new party for a long time, stated that he would not enter the race for the İYİ Party chairmanship. Speaking to Haber7, Ağıralioğlu explained that he has been in the process of forming a new party for a year and is continuing his efforts to complete this process.

Without making a clear statement regarding whether he had received an offer, Yavuz Ağıralioğlu said, "I do not have an agenda to be a candidate."

"NOTHING HAS CHANGED FROM MY PERSPECTIVE"

Clearly stating that he would not be a candidate, Yavuz Ağıralioğlu said, "I have been involved in a process for a year, and I am continuing with it. Nothing has changed from my perspective. I wish my friends success. I hope this process will be beneficial for our country.

I have been in a process for a year, and I am preparing for the upcoming period. I had said when I was in the İYİ Party, and I am saying it now, that I would never take sides in an intra-party power struggle.

In the coming period, we will try to carry a political responsibility not as rivals to our colleagues in the country, but as rivals to the country's problems. I do not have an agenda to be a candidate."
