'Yellow' alert for 13 provinces
The Meteorological Service has issued a yellow code alert for 13 provinces. Localized heavy downpours are expected in some provinces in the Marmara, Aegean, and western Mediterranean regions.

The Meteorological Service has issued a yellow code alert for 13 provinces in the western part of the country.
Accordingly, localized heavy downpours are expected in Istanbul, Kocaeli, Tekirdağ, Sakarya, Yalova, Bursa, Çanakkale, and Balıkesir in the Marmara Region.
A warning for localized heavy rain has also been issued for İzmir, Manisa, Aydın, and Muğla in the Aegean Region, and Antalya in the Mediterranean Region.
Authorities have warned citizens to be cautious against potential negative impacts such as flash floods, inundation, lightning strikes, and disruptions to transportation due to the localized intensity of the rainfall.
