According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the precipitation expected in the form of sleet in the northwestern parts and higher elevations of the eastern regions, and snow in the higher altitudes, is expected to be heavy in the eastern Marmara region as well as in the surroundings of Zonguldak, Düzce, and Bolu. 

There is an avalanche danger in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and in the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.

MARMARA

It is estimated that the region will be partly to very cloudy, with rain and showers in the southern and eastern parts of the region and in the surroundings of Tekirdağ and Kırklareli. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy showers in the surroundings of Istanbul, Bursa, Yalova, Kocaeli, Sakarya, and Bilecik, and heavy sleet and snow at altitudes above 1000 m.
