Yeni Akit columnist targets Özel's 'Raki will be 140 TL' statement: 'Taverns until morning, while mosques...'

Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel, in a speech he gave in Balıkesir, "Calculate it like this 10 years from now. Let the salary be like today's salary. Remove a zero from the expenses. That is, transportation is 50 lira, not 500 lira. Ground beef is 55 lira. Lamb chops are 70 lira. A liter of raki is 140 lira" he said.

Reactionary Yeni Akit columnist Ali Karahasanoğlu responded to these remarks by Özel.

Targeting Özel, Karahasanoğlu said, "The CHP is coming to power... Taverns will be open until morning, while mosques will only be open during prayer times..." he stated.

In one part of his column, Karahasanoğlu also targeted the young lieutenants who said 'We are the soldiers of Mustafa Kemal' at the Military Academy graduation ceremony and against whom an investigation has been launched.

Karahasanoğlu used the following expressions:

"The CHP is coming to power..

Even if not at the ballot box, they are coming to power with swords..

And when they come to power, they are coming to settle scores with drawn swords.."

Karahasanoğlu's article is as follows:
