Yeni Akit targets released Ajans Muhbir managers: 'They got away with it'

Within the scope of the investigation initiated by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 30 defendants appeared in court yesterday, standing trial on charges including 'publicly disseminating misleading information', 'publicly inciting the public to hatred and enmity', and 'threatening to create fear and panic among the public'.
In the hearing held at the Ankara 7th Criminal Court of First Instance, the court panel decided to release Ajans Muhbir managers Süha Çardaklı and Serkan Kafkas, who were being held in custody.

In the report, the released defendants were targeted with the headline, "The insults they made went unpunished."
The report also used the phrase 'known for his hostile attitude toward Syrian migrants' in reference to Zafer Party Chairman Özdağ.
