Yeniçağ Newspaper owner Ahmet Çelik stabbed by his brother
Former IYI Party MP Ahmet Çelik was seriously injured after being stabbed by his brother during an argument at his office. It was announced that Çelik's condition is critical.

Yeniçağ Newspaper owner and former IYI Party MP Ahmet Çelik was seriously injured after being stabbed by his brother, with whom he had an argument.
According to the information received, 27th Term IYI Party Istanbul MP Ahmet Çelik (67) argued with his brother K. Çelik (64) at his office on Fatih Street in the Çobançeşme neighborhood.
As the argument escalated, K. Çelik stabbed his older brother Ahmet Çelik in the chest and hand before fleeing the scene.
Following the notification, Çelik received initial medical intervention from 112 Emergency Health teams that arrived at the scene and was taken to the hospital.
It was reported that Çelik's health condition remains serious.
The police have launched an operation to apprehend the suspect.
While it is known that Ahmet Çelik is the owner of Yeniçağ Newspaper, his brother is known to be the chairman of the board of the same newspaper.

Taking action after the incident, police teams apprehended the suspect K. Çelik.
