Yeniden Refah Party Chairman Erbakan attended the 'Conquest of Mecca' program in Şanlıurfa

The program, organized by the National Youth Association at the Mehmet Akif İnan Education Conference Hall, began with a sand art performance, a recital of hymns, and a Quran recitation by South African Hafiz Abdurrahman Sadien.

Speaking at the program, Erbakan said that they were celebrating the anniversary of the conquest of Mecca, which is the symbol of the triumph of truth over falsehood, in Şanlıurfa.

Erbakan stated, "The conquest of Mecca, the 1394th anniversary of which we are celebrating this evening, is not an ordinary event; it is a major historical event that contains very profound meanings and has its own unique characteristics."

Fatih Erbakan expressed that the conquest of Mecca is the most important indicator that Islam does not consist only of prayer, fasting, pilgrimage, zakat, and charity, but that Islam also encompasses politics, state administration, and all worldly affairs.

The program concluded with a raffle to determine the 4 winners of a trip to Jerusalem and an Umrah pilgrimage.
