A notable development has occurred within the Yeniden Refah Party. Yunus Ari, who served as the District Chair of the Yeniden Refah Party in the Bergama district of İzmir, has been removed from his post.

It was stated that Chair Ari was removed from his position after he made statements regarding Sharia a short time ago, which drew backlash. 

In a statement issued by the Yeniden Refah Party, it was noted: “İzmir Bergama District Chair Yunus Ari has been removed from his position due to his statements that do not comply with the party charter and discipline. Respectfully announced to the public.”
