Ak Gençlik Ocakları President Ferhat Aydoğan and Ergin Vançin have been released after two months.

According to a report by İsmail Arı from BirGün, it was previously revealed that Ak Gençlik Ocakları General President Ferhat Aydoğan and an individual named Ergin Vançin, who introduced himself as Aydoğan’s Chief of Staff, had printed fake identification cards in the name of the Ministry of Interior. The attempt by Aydoğan and Vançin to create a protective shield for themselves using fake cards bearing the Ministry's logo had become a major topic of discussion.

ALI YERLIKAYA HAD SHARED IT ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Following the public outcry, Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya made a statement on July 12, 2024, under the heading “The necessary action was taken”, announcing that Aydoğan and Vançin had been arrested.

Yerlikaya stated, "As a result of a tip-off shared on a social media platform on 11.07.2024, tagging our Ministry of Interior, it was determined that identification cards had been issued using the name of our Ministry of Interior."

Yerlikaya continued as follows:

"As a result of the work carried out by our Adana Provincial Police Department teams upon evaluating the tip-off, the suspects E. V. and F. A., who was in the same vehicle, were caught with the cards in question. An investigation was opened by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the individuals for Attempted Qualified Fraud, Forgery of Documents, and Influence Peddling, and they were arrested by the court they were brought before. We will not give any leeway to those who commit fraud using the names of state institutions and try to gain privileges, nor to criminal hubs and criminals."

THEY WERE RELEASED AFTER TWO MONTHS

However, it has been learned that Aydoğan and Vançin were released from Adana Suluca Prison approximately two months later. Aydoğan’s father also confirmed the release. In fact, on September 26, Aydoğan placed an advertisement on an internet site under his own name for the sale of a plot of land in Adana.

Ferhat Aydoğan’s father, Muzaffer Aydoğan, also said, “My son has been released from prison.”

TRAVELING WITH A VEHICLE EQUIPPED WITH FLASHING LIGHTS

Ferhat Aydoğan, who introduces himself as a “journalist,” has been traveling for some time in vehicles equipped with flashing lights, uses an identification card signed by the Ministry of Interior, and has photos with district governors, governors, and some bureaucrats, had previously come to the agenda with claims that he was the “press advisor” to organized crime leader Alaattin Çakıcı. However, Çakıcı denied this in a post he made.

CLOSE TO MHP FIGURES

Aydoğan, who went to Maraş after the February 6 earthquakes, announced on social media that he had met with General Arif Çetin there; following these images, Çakıcı stated that Aydoğan was not his advisor.

Aydoğan has photos with figures such as Alaattin Çakıcı, MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız, and Devlet Bahçeli's press advisor Yıldıray Çiçek.
