11 DETAINED WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE INVESTIGATION
The Minister of Justice stated that efforts to determine the cause of the fire and identify those responsible are ongoing. Minister Tunç said, "The judicial investigation conducted by the Gebze Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is being carried out in a multi-faceted and meticulous manner. So far, 11 suspects have been detained."
EXPERT COMMITTEE HAS BEGUN ITS WORK
An expert committee consisting of a mechanical engineer, an electrical engineer, a chemist, and an occupational health expert has been formed to determine the cause of the fire. Minister Tunç announced that the expert committee is continuing its investigations into all technical and safety aspects of the fire.
