Yönter, who resigned from his post in the MHP, shares post about Bahçeli: 'He is not just my leader'

İzzet Ulvi Yönter, Deputy Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), a partner in the ruling coalition, announced his resignation from his post last week via a message shared on social media. Following the resignation, Yönter made a post regarding MHP Chairman Bahçeli.

In his first post on his X account, Yönter had written, "Agent who has infiltrated the MHP, we are watching you from every angle. What do you know about integrity! Don't worry, we will definitely settle scores with you... Your money won't work either, you scheming scoundrel..."

In another controversial post he shared later, he had said, "Hey you schemer, your star is under our feet. Now a page of full reckoning has been opened. You dishonorable enemy of the MHP..."

While the politician's posts sparked debate, shortly thereafter, Yönter stated in a brief announcement on his X account, "I am resigning from my position as MHP Deputy Chairman due to necessity. I submit this to the public's information."

Sharing photos of himself with Bahçeli, Yönter wrote the following note:

He is not just my leader; he is my esteemed elder, the wise and experienced mountain of the Turkish nation, to whom I have dedicated my life, at whose feet I have matured with respect and loyalty, and by whose side and proximity I have witnessed everything. May God, who started it with him, not leave us without him, and may He not take him away from us...
