Young man arrested for filming inappropriate footage in a mosque in Bursa

In Bursa, 18-year-old E.Y. posted a video on his social media account in which he was semi-nude and singing profane songs inside a mosque. These images quickly sparked reactions on social media platforms, prompting law enforcement to take action.
APPREHENDED IN A SHORT TIME
The Provincial Police Department's Cyber Crimes Division launched a meticulous investigation following the sharing of the video. Through examinations conducted on social media, the identity of the account owner, E.Y., was determined. Subsequently, teams from the İnegöl District Police Department apprehended the suspect in a short time under the instructions of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
Following his detention, E.Y. was referred to the courthouse and brought before a judge. The court decided to arrest E.Y. regarding the incident, which offended public conscience. Authorities stated that the legal process regarding such sensitive issues will be carried out meticulously.
