A young person, who faced charges for participating in protests that began after the detention of CHP's imprisoned presidential candidate and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, was taken into custody while attempting to enter the courtroom.

Journalist Fatoş Erdoğan shared information on her social media account regarding the events unfolding at the Çağlayan Courthouse.
In her post, Erdoğan stated, "A young person who was making an effort to enter the hearing at the Çağlayan Courthouse has been detained." she noted.
The post indicated that the detained individual was later able to attend the ongoing hearing, but that detention procedures would resume following the conclusion of the session.
