YRP Deputy Chairman Kılıç speaks after MYK meeting

Kılıç made statements regarding the agenda at a press conference held after the party's Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting.

Stating that they are following the process in Syria following the overthrow of the 61-year-old Baath regime, Kılıç said, "We have carefully followed the Damascus contacts of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) President, Mr. İbrahim Kalın. We are proud of Turkey's presence in the processes in the region and of Turkey being active and effective in the region."

Evaluating the resolution of the Somaliland crisis, which has been ongoing for some time between Ethiopia and Somalia, through Turkey's mediation, Kılıç expressed their satisfaction that the issue is being resolved under Turkey's leadership.

Suat Kılıç said, "We hope that this step will also serve as a catalyst for the revitalization of the D-8 project, which will solve problems in the Islamic world from the root."

Stating that the D-8 project is the legacy of former Prime Minister Necmettin Erbakan, Kılıç assessed, "We urgently expect the D-8 to be embraced by the President for the permanent resolution of deep-rooted problems in the Islamic world."

Yeniden Refah Party Deputy Chairman Suat Kılıç also commented on the meetings of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission regarding the determination of the minimum wage that will be valid in 2025, saying, "We are waiting for the minimum wage to be announced under these economic conditions. It is clear that they will not and cannot provide our proposal of 35 thousand liras. We are looking into their eyes with hope, at the very least, so that they do not let workers be crushed by inflation."
