YRP reacts to the lieutenants issue: Warns the government

Yeniden Refah Party Deputy Chairman Suat Kılıç made important statements regarding the agenda following the Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting. Kılıç addressed many issues, from allegations regarding the healthcare system to the problems of teachers who cannot be appointed and the pulling of the TSK into political debates.

Drawing attention to certain events in the healthcare sector, Suat Kılıç said that a criminal organization he called the "newborn murder network" is a major threat facing Turkey.

Kılıç included the following statements in his remarks:

“Members of gangs that drag our children into a swamp of crime have no right to walk free. This organization, referred to as the newborn murder network, which caused the deaths of dozens of our babies through intent and negligence, is not just a criminal gang; it is a murder organization that has lost its humanity, morality, and conscience. Justice cannot be served without the managers of the healthcare system connected to this organization being put on trial. This gang has destroyed trust in the healthcare system. The state and the judiciary, with all their elements, must bring all individuals of this criminal organization before a judge.”

'THE CRISIS OF TEACHERS WHO CANNOT BE APPOINTED MUST BE SOLVED'

Touching upon the problem of teachers who cannot be appointed in Turkey, Kılıç stated that the dreams of young people should not be toyed with. Kılıç spoke as follows:

“Quotas for faculties of education should be regulated according to need. Young people who receive education by trusting the quotas opened by the state should not face an appointment crisis. Keeping the promise of 'interviews will be abolished' made before the 2023 elections is important for the delivery of the rights of young people.”

'TSK MUST BE KEPT AWAY FROM POLITICAL DEBATES'

Making statements regarding the lieutenants issue brought to the agenda by the Ministry of National Defense, Kılıç criticized the pulling of the Turkish Armed Forces into political debates.

“The erosion of the Ministry of National Defense is not just the erosion of an institution; it is a situation that harms the morale and motivation of the Turkish army. Both the government and the opposition must refrain from pulling the TSK into the center of political debates. The success of our army depends on it staying away from political arguments.”

Kılıç criticized the segregation of young lieutenants in the Turkish Armed Forces and said the following:

“In Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and Republican values should be the common values of all political parties. Polarization and segregation over these values harm the future of the country. The price for this has been paid heavily in the past. We warn that the same mistake should not be made today.”
