YRP thanks governor for canceling concert: 'Those who engage in LGBT propaganda...'
The concert by the music group Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut, which was planned to be held at the Gaziantep University Mavera Congress and Art Center, was canceled following pressure from the Gaziantep Family Platform. No statement was made by the university administration regarding the cancellation of the concert.
CONCERT CANCELED ONCE AGAIN
Following the incident, the CHP-run Şehitkâmil Municipality allocated the Şehit Kamil Municipality Culture and Congress Center to the group. However, it was learned that the concert, which was planned to be held at the Culture Center, was also canceled due to pressure.
Regarding the concert cancellation, the music group Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut stated, "As a result of the pressure exerted on the Culture Center, we were prevented from taking the stage without any official justification being provided."

The group's statement is as follows:
"Dear friends; We had moved our Gaziantep concert, which we planned to hold today, to the Şehit Kamil Municipality Culture and Congress Center due to the last-minute cancellation decision made by the university. However, despite all our efforts, we were prevented from taking the stage as a result of the pressure exerted on the Culture Center, without any official justification being provided. As Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut, we want you to know that we did everything in our power with our entire team until the very last moment to meet again with our Gaziantep audience, whom we have met many times before. Thank you for your understanding and support. You can get refunds from the channels where you purchased your tickets. We will certainly meet in better days."
"CONTRARY TO OUR MORAL VALUES"
On the other hand, in a statement made by the Gaziantep Platform following the cancellation decision regarding the concert, the following was said about the music group Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut:
“This event was canceled through the initiatives of the Gaziantep Family Platform. We thank the university administration and the civil society organizations that took the initiative. Such and similar so-called events, which are contrary to our national and moral values and have content that will especially harm our youth, should not be allowed.”
