YSK evaluates objections for 11 electoral districts

The Supreme Election Council (YSK) has reached a decision on objections filed by political parties for 11 electoral districts, including 2 provinces, within the scope of the March 31 Local Administration General Elections.

The Supreme Election Council continues to evaluate objections made within the scope of the March 31 Local Administration General Elections. The council, which convened today at 14:00, issued final rulings on the objections made by political parties following the meeting. During the meeting, the council concluded the objections filed for 11 electoral districts.

According to the information obtained, the AK Party's request for the 'cancellation of elections' in Gümüşhane, in the Karakaya town of Tokat's Erbaa district, in the Büyükardı town of Elazığ's Arıcak district, and in Kayseri's Akkışla district, as well as their request for a 'recount of votes' in Ağrı, were rejected by the YSK.
During the meeting, the CHP's requests for a 'recount of votes' for the Ergene and Kapaklı districts of Tekirdağ were also rejected by the YSK.

The MHP's application to lift the decision to cancel elections in the Sağlık town of Aksaray and their application for the cancellation of the certificate of election in the Kazımkarabekir district of Karaman were also rejected by the Supreme Election Council.
The council also did not accept the IYI Party's requests for the cancellation of elections in the Çatalpınar and Ünye districts of Ordu.
