YSK's local election calendar published in the Official Gazette

The Supreme Election Council has announced the voting hours to be applied by province for the March 31, 2024 Local Elections. Differences in voting hours by province were observed based on sunrise and sunset times.

DECISION ON EXTENDING THE DURATION

It was stated that if there are voters still waiting at the ballot box when the voting time ends at 17:00, the ballot box chairperson may count these individuals and allow them to continue voting after the official end of the election period.

ELECTION HOURS BY PROVINCE

Due to the variation in sunrise and sunset times across the country, it was decided that the voting period should be adjusted according to these times.

According to this decision, the voting period will begin at 07:00 and conclude at 16:00 in Adıyaman, Ağrı, Artvin, Bingöl, Bitlis, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Erzincan, Erzurum, Antep, Giresun, Gümüşhane, Hakkari, Kars, Malatya, Maraş, Mardin, Muş, Ordu, Rize, Siirt, Sivas, Trabzon, Dersim, Urfa, Van, Bayburt, Batman, Şırnak, Ardahan, Iğdır, and Kilis. In other provinces, the voting period will take place between 08:00 and 17:00.
