Former President of the Turkish Historical Society, former MHP Kayseri Deputy, and former IYI Party member Prof. Dr. Yusuf Halaçoğlu has founded a new party. The name of the party founded by Halaçoğlu has been determined as 'Kutlu Party'.
CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE
Former Zafer Party member Adem Taşkaya, in a statement on his social media account, said, "May the party named 'Kutlu Party' founded by Mr. Yusuf Halaçoğlu be auspicious for the Turkish nation. Before we founded the Zafer Party, we had determined its name as Kutlu Party, and later changed it. I had also acquired the Twitter (X) account for Kutlu Party. I would be happy to transfer it to you..."

In another post on his X account, Taşkaya said, "The nation's vote is not mortgaged to anyone or any party. For this reason, do not direct the accusations made against your party toward newly founded parties! Great injustices were done to @yusufhalacoglu during the IYI Party process. I wish for the party he founded to be auspicious for the Turkish Nation. May their path be clear."

WHAT HAPPENED?
Prof. Dr. Yusuf Halaçoğlu, who resigned from the MHP in 2018 and was among the founders of the IYI Party, was not nominated as a parliamentary candidate by the IYI Party in the June 24, 2018 general elections. After leaving the IYI Party some time later, Halaçoğlu supported the Zafer Party and Ata Alliance presidential candidate Sinan Ogan in the May 14, 2023 elections.
