The Zonguldak-Karadeniz Ereğli highway, where police and gendarmerie teams had not permitted passage, has been reopened to two-way traffic following the completion of the work.
On the other hand, in a post shared on the social media account of the General Directorate of Highways, it was stated that "The Zonguldak-Kilimli highway has been closed to traffic in both directions due to coastal flooding occurring between the 2nd and 6th kilometers."
In a statement made by the Governor's Office yesterday, it was reported that the highway was closed to two-way traffic due to landslides on the Karadeniz Ereğli highway, specifically from Terzi village towards Zonguldak, from the Highways maintenance facility in both directions, and from the Martyrdom location towards the city center.
