100cl rakı approaches 1,000 lira

For one brand of rakı, 100cl bottles have approached one thousand lira. For another group's rakı, the 70cl bottle has risen to 715 lira, and the 100cl bottle to 929 lira.

It has reached a point where, along with one bottle of rakı, you are also paying for 2 bottles in taxes. Another rakı group had already implemented a 7 percent price hike on their products on October 9.
