14 more aid trucks reach Gaza

Making a statement on the social media platform X regarding the aid reaching Gaza, Griffiths announced that 14 more trucks had entered Gaza through the Rafah Border Crossing. Griffiths stated that the aid was provided by the Egyptian Red Crescent and the UN.
Griffiths described this as a "small glimmer of hope for millions of people in dire need of humanitarian aid."
Emphasizing that much more is needed, Griffiths said, "I am grateful to the aid workers on the Palestinian side for immediately taking action to unload the goods despite the risks. They are the real heroes. They also need protection."
In a statement on October 21, Griffiths had welcomed the announcement that an aid convoy had entered Gaza for the first time since the conflict between Israel and Palestine began on October 7, reporting that the first aid convoy of 20 trucks that crossed the border contained life-saving supplies provided by the Egyptian Red Crescent and the UN, which were permitted to be received by the Palestinian Red Crescent with the support of the UN.
