The date when the November inflation data will be announced is being closely followed by landlords and tenants. Before the November inflation figures are released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT), the CPI expectations of economists are a matter of curiosity. So, when will the inflation data be announced?
WHEN AND AT WHAT TIME WILL THE INFLATION DATA BE ANNOUNCED?
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) normally announces inflation data on the 3rd of every month. However, the date for the November inflation data has been set.
Accordingly, the November inflation data will be announced on Monday, December 4, at 10:00 AM.
INFLATION FORECAST HAS BEEN DETERMINED
The expectation survey conducted by AA Finance regarding the November inflation data, which will be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Monday, December 4, was concluded with the participation of 15 economists.
Accordingly, the average of the economists' inflation expectations for November was 3.68 percent. The inflation expectations of the economists participating in the survey for November ranged from a low of 3 percent to a high of 4.60 percent.
ANNUAL INFLATION EXPECTATION IS 62.61 PERCENT
According to the average of the economists' inflation expectations for November, it is calculated that the annual inflation, which was 61.36 percent the previous month, will rise to 62.61 percent.
On the other hand, the economists' year-end inflation expectation for November was 66.80 percent.
OCTOBER INFLATION DATA
According to TURKSTAT data, the CPI increased by 3.43 percent in October. On an annual basis, the CPI stood at 61.36 percent.
The Domestic PPI increased by 1.94 percent in October and 39.39 percent on an annual basis.
On a monthly basis, the highest increase occurred in the clothing and footwear group with 13.73 percent. This was followed by housing with 7.54 percent, restaurants and hotels with 3.51 percent, food and non-alcoholic beverages with 3.20 percent, miscellaneous goods and services with 3.08 percent, communication with 2.67 percent, health with 2.64 percent, household goods with 2.60 percent, recreation and culture with 2.26 percent, education with 0.29 percent, and alcoholic beverages and tobacco with 0.09 percent. The only item that decreased in October was transportation with 0.18 percent.
On an annual basis, the highest increase in CPI was seen in the restaurants and hotels group at 94.12 percent. This was followed by health with 81.30 percent, education with 80.83 percent, food and non-alcoholic beverages with 71.99 percent, transportation with 71.99 percent, alcoholic beverages and tobacco with 61.97 percent, household goods with 60.96 percent, miscellaneous goods and services with 60.33 percent, recreation and culture with 56.96 percent, communication with 46.70 percent, and clothing and footwear with 39.15 percent. The lowest increase in the last year was seen in housing with 25.98 percent.
While there was an increase in 122 of the 143 basic headings included in the CPI and a decrease in 15, no change was observed in 6 headings.
