Arfa Ambalaj Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, which has been serving in Turkey's packaging sector for approximately 25 years, has announced its bankruptcy after failing to overcome a financial crisis. The company's long-standing debt burden led to the failure of its concordat process.

The case of Arfa Ambalaj, which is registered with the Istanbul Trade Registry Directorate, was heard at the Bakırköy 2nd Commercial Court of First Instance. In the hearing held on April 15, 2026, the court panel concluded that it was not possible to stabilize the company's financial structure and issued the bankruptcy decision. With this decision, the company's concordat process has also officially come to an end.

Within the scope of the bankruptcy process, proceedings were initiated in accordance with Article 288/2 of the Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law, as amended by Law No. 7101. With the decision, all precautionary injunctions on the company were lifted, and it was ruled that the liquidation proceedings be carried out through the "ordinary liquidation" method. In accordance with the relevant court decision, the situation was also reported to the Bakırköy Duty Bankruptcy Office and the Istanbul Trade Registry Directorate.

Throughout its years of operation, Arfa Ambalaj stood out with a very wide product range, from store bags to printed nylon, and from roll garment bags to seedling bags for the agricultural sector. The company, which completed its incorporation steps at its facilities in Bayrampaşa, Istanbul in 2020, had gained an important place in its sector with its diversity in production.

In addition to this, Arfa Ambalaj also provided its customers with the supply of various industrial raw materials such as powder slip, brighteners, drying agents, and calcite, beyond the production of bags and sacks. However, the measures taken against economic difficulties were not sufficient, and the company's bankruptcy has been finalized.
