8.3 million TL in fines issued during food inspections
In Samsun, administrative fines totaling 8 million 298 thousand TL were imposed on 215 businesses that failed to comply with regulations during food inspections.

The Samsun Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, conducted a total of 22 thousand 165 inspections in 2023.
Out of the 22 thousand 165 inspections carried out across the province—covering 1 thousand 398 food production facilities subject to registration and approval, 6 thousand 37 food retail outlets, 4 thousand 711 mass consumption venues, and 604 feed sales locations subject to registration and approval—2 thousand 54 samples were collected.
As a result of the samples taken, administrative fines totaling 8 million 298 thousand 389 TL were issued to 215 businesses that did not comply with the rules or failed to meet the necessary requirements.
