Jewelers recommended carefully examining the product before buying, checking certificates, and shopping from reliable sources. Serkan Kuyumcu, a jeweler in the Efeler district of Aydın, said, "Gold, which never goes out of style, is a popular investment vehicle that attracts interest in every period. Gold is one of the oldest investment methods and continues to be the primary choice for anyone who wants to save. Gold prices have increased significantly in recent days. This has whetted the appetite of some malicious individuals. Therefore, to avoid being victimized, I recommend that our citizens shop from a jeweler they trust. It would also be in the citizens' best interest to buy from reliable sellers on reliable websites when shopping online."

Reminding that some important points should be considered when buying gold, Kuyumcu added, "Gold should have its karat, hallmark, and TSE Certificate. If there is any suspicious situation during the purchase, the invoice for the gold purchased from the jeweler must be requested. Due to the recent increase in gold prices, unfortunately, our citizens can be defrauded by falling into traps set on fake shopping sites by malicious individuals," he said.
