The General Communiqués on the Inheritance and Gift Tax Law, Motor Vehicles Tax Law, Fees Law, and Income Tax Law by the Revenue Administration of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance were published in today's duplicate issue of the Official Gazette.

The 30 percent increase in the minimum wage was also reflected in the income tax and stamp duty exemptions, reducing the tax to be paid by wage earners. Due to the minimum wage being tax-exempt, all wage earners will be exempt from paying 47 thousand 519.79 liras in income tax and stamp duty in 2025.

Furthermore, the daily meal allowance exemption amount, which was 170 liras, has increased to 240 liras, and the daily transportation allowance exemption amount, which was 88 liras, has increased to 126 liras. Thus, monthly payments of 6 thousand 240 liras for meal allowances and 3 thousand 276 liras for transportation allowances can be paid to employees as tax-exempt.

On the other hand, the upper limit for the Social Security Institution (SGK) premium exemption for meal cards had been removed with a decision dated December 2.
