Ali Metin Kazancı, founder of Kazancı Holding, passes away

Ali Metin Kazancı, the founder and Honorary Chairman of Kazancı Holding, has passed away. A funeral ceremony will be held for Kazancı in Istanbul today.

The following statement was issued in a written announcement by Kazancı Holding:

"It is with deep sorrow that we have learned of the passing of Ali Metin Kazancı, the founder and Honorary Chairman of Kazancı Holding. The late Ali Metin Kazancı holds the greatest share in Kazancı Holding reaching its current position through his efforts, vision, and the values he represented. As one of the first names that comes to mind when entrepreneurship is mentioned in Turkey, Ali Metin Kazancı was a pioneering, inspiring, and exemplary leader who left his mark on the business world with his life and stance. With his humble demeanor, human-oriented approach, and the powerful legacy he leaves behind, he will always be remembered with respect and gratitude, not only as a successful businessperson but also as a guide who will be remembered for generations. His precious memory will continue to live on in our corporate culture and shared values."

The statement also included information regarding the funeral program.

"The late Ali Metin Kazancı will be laid to rest in the family cemetery at Karacaahmet Cemetery on Sunday, January 4, 2026, following the funeral prayer to be held at Şakirin Mosque after the afternoon prayer. We wish God's mercy upon him and offer our patience and condolences to his loved ones, especially the Kazancı family. May he rest in peace."
