All-time high: Record in Central Bank reserves

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (TCMB) has announced its weekly money and banking statistics.

Accordingly, as of October 18, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves increased by 148 million dollars to 93 billion 791 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves stood at 93 billion 643 million dollars on October 11.

During this period, gold reserves also rose by 1 billion 831 million dollars, reaching 65 billion 574 million dollars from 63 billion 743 million dollars.

Thus, the Central Bank's total reserves increased by 1 billion 979 million dollars in the week of October 18 compared to the previous week, rising from 157 billion 386 million dollars to 159 billion 365 million dollars, reaching an all-time high.
