Annual income tax return filing period has begun
The filing period for annual income tax returns regarding earnings obtained in 2023 has begun. The deadline for submitting returns electronically has been set for April 1, 2024.

According to the announcement on the Revenue Administration (GİB) website, income tax payers who are taxed under the actual method due to their commercial, agricultural, and professional activities will be able to submit their returns for 2023 electronically until Monday, April 1.
Taxpayers whose income consists solely of one or more of the following—wages, rental income, securities capital gains, or other earnings and revenues—will be able to file their annual income tax returns easily and securely via the "Digital Tax Office (Pre-filled Return System)."
The income tax accrued on the annual income tax returns regarding last year's earnings must be paid in two equal installments in March and July.
Furthermore, guides, brochures, and infographics categorized by income type have been prepared by the Administration and made available to assist taxpayers in filing their annual income tax returns.
