Toybox Gıda A.Ş., which left its mark on the memories of an entire generation with its gum containing toys, had also expanded its customer portfolio in recent years to reach young and adult consumers.
According to the report in Ekonomim, Toybox Gıda, which produces not only gum with toys but also snacks such as jelly beans and chocolate, has applied for a concordat due to the economic difficulties it is experiencing.
15 THOUSAND TONS OF CHOCOLATE ANNUALLY
The financial distress of the food giant, which has an annual chocolate production capacity of 15,000 tons, has drawn attention. According to the report shared by Halktv.com.tr, Toybox Gıda, a favorite among children for its chocolate with toys, aims to overcome its economic difficulties by filing for a concordat.
Toybox Gıda, which applied to the court, was granted a one-year final grace period as of August 14, 2024. Toybox Gıda holds an important place in the sector with its annual production capacity of 15 thousand tons. The company has products such as Jelly, Licorice, and Marshmallow that are favorites among children.
