Approval for new IPO from the CMB: Share price set at 40 TL

Important authorization decisions were announced in the latest bulletin of the Capital Markets Board (CMB). Accordingly, the initial public offering for which Beta Enerji ve Teknoloji A.Ş. applied to be traded on Borsa Istanbul has received approval from the CMB with a share price of 40 lira. This step by the company is expected to bring momentum to the sector by offering a new option on the stock exchange in the energy and technology fields.

Within the scope of the bulletin, the CMB also gave positive responses to the capital increase and issuance applications of other companies. A decision was made for a bonus capital increase of 10 billion TL for Türkiye Sigorta A.Ş., while permission was granted for a capital increase of 1 billion 250 million TL for Goodyear Lastikleri Türk A.Ş., to be covered from its equity.

In addition, the bond and financing bill issuances of numerous companies were approved by the Board. Issuance requests were accepted for Şeker Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. for 4 billion TL, Creditwest Faktoring A.Ş. for 670 million TL, Deva Holding A.Ş. for 4 billion TL, Pınar Süt Mamulleri Sanayii A.Ş. for 2.5 billion TL, Tera Yatırım Bankası A.Ş. for 12 billion TL and 50 million dollars, Aytemiz Yatırım Bankası A.Ş. for 5 billion TL and 50 million euros, and Ak Finansal Kiralama A.Ş. for 150 million dollars.

There were also new developments in fund management. The Board approved the establishment of the Equity Umbrella Fund and Free Umbrella Funds of Büyükdemir Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş.

On the other hand, Destek Yatırım Bankası A.Ş. also received a positive result in its application to obtain an operating license for brokerage of order transmission. With these decisions, activity in the capital markets is expected to continue.
