The visa-on-arrival program, which was launched last year and received great interest, has been expanded this year to cover 12 Greek islands. The visa-on-arrival fee for Turkish citizens has increased from 60 euros to 85 euros (3,705 lira). For children under 18, this fee has been set at 20 euros. It was stated that in the event of a visa application being rejected, the paid fee is not refunded.

The visa-on-arrival grants a single entry only to the island where the application is made and provides for a maximum stay of 6 nights and 7 days. This program continues to increase the interest of Turkish tourists in the Greek islands.

Istanbul Sea Buses (İDO) has announced its summer season sea voyages to the Greek islands. Transportation will be provided from Seferihisar to Samos for 40 euros, from Kuşadası to Samos for 55 euros, and from Dikili to Lesbos for 45 euros. These voyages make transportation to the Greek islands even easier.
