ASAL Research has conducted a striking study regarding Turkey's economic situation.

In the survey, which was conducted with 2,000 people in 26 provinces between April 20-21, participants were asked the question: “When you think about your daily life, would you say the Turkish economy is generally heading in a 'good' or 'bad' direction?”

While 18.5 percent of participants answered 'It is heading in a good direction,' the rate of those who said 'It is heading in a bad direction' was 75.5 percent. 6 percent of citizens said 'I have no opinion.'

In the same study, participants were also asked: “Do you think the opposition parties have the staff to fix the current economic situation?”

56 percent of participants are of the opinion that the opposition parties do not have the staff to fix the current economic situation, while 34.8 percent believe they do have such staff.
