Balance achieved in Turkey's electricity production!

Yesterday, electricity production in Turkey reached 934 thousand 201 megawatt-hours, while consumption was 932 thousand 57 megawatt-hours.

Yesterday, 934 thousand 201 megawatt-hours of electricity were produced in Turkey on a daily basis, while consumption was measured at 932 thousand 57 megawatt-hours.

According to data from Türkiye Elektrik İletim AŞ, the highest electricity consumption occurred at 12:00 with 44 thousand 321 megawatt-hours, while the lowest consumption was recorded at 05:00 with 30 thousand 988 megawatt-hours.

Imported coal power plants took the first place in electricity production with 25 percent. This was followed by dam-based hydroelectric power plants with 22.7 percent and natural gas power plants with 13.8 percent.

Our country exported 6 thousand 293 megawatt-hours of electricity yesterday, while 4 thousand 151 megawatt-hours of electricity were imported.
